The Chromatic "B-griff" keyboard
#1
No!  I had never heard of the Chromatic "B-griff" keyboard either until I came across this!
For anyone that plays a 'button accordion' this is the answer to how you progress to playing a keyboard.

The keyboard Paul is playing is a Tyros 4.

@Hugh
Many thanks for these videos.

I myself had a Solton X8 Chromatic keyboard, but sold it after a short time because it was in poor technical condition and needed extensive service.

I would have liked to have such a module (or several), but these are very expensive in Norway; about the same as a Genos1..!

It is infinitely easier for me to play such a thing, because I am an accordion player.
It is still very different from an accordion, because the angle is different and this requires some getting used to.

But it has its advantages:
On a keyboard I reach just over 1 octave, while on an accordion I reach almost 3 octaves.

The bass is also far easier to play, and it's very easy to build the most complex advanced chords that always turn out correctly.
