Came across this and remembered playing it in the band in the 60s.
It was composed by Harry Warren in 1925.
This early hit enjoyed a moderate revival in 1956-57 with a top-30 charting hit by singer Jill Corey.
This is the one I remember.
Listening to this you can hear the ‘run-ups’ and ‘run-downs’ between the various chords, and it’s this that I wanted to make a feature of with my Tyros 4 .. with the bass side of a piano doing the runs. So I set up Ambient Piano in RIGHT 1.
To play the melody I chose a similar sound, BalladDX from E. PIANO, but had to put that into RIGHT 3, as had I put it into R2 it would have played along with R1, as R1 and R2 play together.
To play those bass runs on the piano I needed the G I have as the top note of the section where I play the chords that trigger the STYLE, so needed to put that split point back to F#.
I have set my Split Points as below.
As you can see from the below, RIGHT 1 and RIGHT 3 are active (and the Left Hand Voice) but not RIGHT 2.
The piano in RIGHT 1 will be playing bass notes, so RIGHT 1 needs to be put down an octave.
As does RIGHT 3, as playing the melody in that part of the keyboard will be higher than it should be.
Using the MIXING CONSOLE I put R1 and R3 down an octave so the notes I play are in the range they should be.
I am using just two Registration Memories to play this song.
REGISTRATION MEMORY 1
STYLE: Dixieland2
I have the TEMPO at 188 beats per minute (as indicated by the blue arrow).
REGISTRATION MEMORY 2
As Registration Memory 1 but with BigBand2-BANJO STYLE replacing Dixieland2.
I Love My Baby, My Baby Loves Me
CHORDS I am playing:

If the chord on the first beat of the bar is the same as in the previous bar .. then I can use my left hand (as the chord and Left Hand Voice continue playing when I take my left hand off the keys); but if it’s a different chord on the first beat of the bar .. then my left hand is needed to play that .. so I have to ‘jump down’ with my right hand to play the run-up/down and then ‘jump back up’ again to continue playing the melody. So quite a bit of concentration needed to do this successfully!
If anyone with a Tyros 4 would like the files needed to play this piece with my settings, you can download them from the Attachments below. All three files should be put into USER. The remaining files the REGISTRATION links to are all PRESET ones so the Tyros 4 will find them anyway.
