WHY AN INSTRUMENT GROUP WILL ALWAYS BE FAVORITED ON YOUR KEYBOARD / SYNTH

Keyboards on the market have only 1 tone generator (sound engine), and this is almost always based on organ.
This means in practice that all instruments that belong to the organ group will theoretically have more favorable conditions than others.

Accordions and harmonicas are naturally part of the organ, and most wind instruments will also work well, because the production of sound takes place in much the same way.
Theoretically, this group should have been divided into 2 groups; an acoustic and an electric - everyone should understand that there is a big difference between a cathedral organ and a B3.

This is a big part of the explanation for why acoustic piano is never realistically reproduced on a keyboard, because acoustic piano is the most complex of all instruments, and therefore requires a separate tone generator to be able to be realistically reproduced.
The same goes for electric piano, but this is far less critical.

Since acoustic piano is a string instrument, one would think that other string instruments can also be added to this group, but this is not the case, due to the fact that the piano has very long strings, which are placed in a very large cabinet.

All acoustic string instruments require at least one separate tone generator, and the Guitar group typically includes various acoustic guitars, mandolins, banjos and the like.

Acoustic string instruments such as violin, viola, cello and double bass are divided into a separate group called Strings, because these have a continuous sound that requires a separate tone generator.

Electric guitars should never have belonged to the same group as acoustic guitars, because the sound is produced in a very different way between the two.
These belong under a separate tone generator.

Wind instruments can also advantageously divided into 2 groups; wood and brass, each with its own tone generator.

Percussion instruments are a large group, consisting of many different instruments such as the subgroups Idiophone, Membraneophone and Aerophone.
In the group Idiophone you will find vibraphone and related, which are mechanically different from the rest of the group, and should require a separate tone generator.

In both of these subgroups there are also the instruments that are part of a drum set, which is guaranteed to require a separate tone generator.

Finally, human voices can be mentioned, which to a large extent require a separate tone generator, but no one has so far managed to create one that is particularly authentic and true to life.


The above should clearly illuminate the reality that a keyboard / synth will never be able to reproduce a realistic reproduction of all instrument groups (only one), as long as this has only one tone generator.

At the same time, it also explains why Korg Kronos and Nautilus are all completely superior:
They have 9 tone generators, each with its own specific instrument group as a working area.
Shared knowledge provides increased knowledge
Do the least possible and achieve the most possible
If we all share everything we have, we all have everything
Every theory is only a hypothesis until it is practically proven
