HOW TO MAKE THE VIDEO CAPTURE CARD WORK ?
I have bought a video capture card, and installed OBS Studio.
Everything is connected to Pa5X and PC, but how to get pictures ?
I watched a video that described how and it said that this is very easy to do, but it's not.
Why do even the simplest things have to be so damn hard to achieve ?
OBS Studio is in no way logical and intuitive.

Wise question.
No, Windows does not detect it.
USB C is one of the worst things ever made, because it makes a very bad connection.
I can try another port and see if this gives a better connection.
This is probably the reason why it doesn't work.

I found a connection that makes good contact, but Windows does not respond when I plug it in.
However, when I go into Bluetooth & devices > Cameras, it shows as > USB Video.
No image, but it looks like Windows has found the device.

Have you changed the video out settings on your Pa5x ? To mirror the screen ?
On the Pa700 it’s in the global menu.
Does the pc you use have a webcam ?

I had not changed the video out settings on the Pa5X.
When I did this, Windows found the device.
I don't use a webcam.
Still no picture.

Very, very strange.
When I checked the settings in Windows, everything is correct, and the picture shows in Windows Settings, but NOT in the program OBS..?
But anyway:
I can now create images by copying the image that appears in Windows Settings.
Backwards, but it works in a way.
The program OBS should probably be replaced with one that is easier to use.

It seems that my assumption that it is the OBS program that is the problem is correct.
I installed EaseUS RecExperts, and the image showed as soon as I clicked on the Web camera.
However, other problems arise:
The image is scaled incorrectly and I can't do anything because the program has locked up.
I have to close it with Task Manager.
So I have to test different ones until I find one that works.
The world is full of developers who don't know what they are doing...

I found the right program.
Debut from NCH Software works straight away and displays the image correctly.
I can't find a way to save it, but by taking a screenshot, I can paste it into Paint and save it as normal.
Thus my problem is solved.
