CHELLO ON A "HOME VISIT" TO A LIKE-MINDED FRIEND

About 25 years ago I had a visit from my sister-in-law's brother, who was then 14 years old.
I had just made my first baffle speakers and he was completely captivated by the sight and sound.
They were 2 meters high, black with 6 Seas full range copper units.

He was so fascinated that he was influenced for the rest of his life.
It's been years since we met but I spoke to him on Messenger yesterday, and I got some pictures of his projects.
Here is a picture of a couple of baffles he recently made:

I was almost shocked when I saw this layout, because it is a copy of my own:
The baffles are lined up against a sloping ceiling, and he has guitars hanging on the wall next to it.
My setup is identical.
He has never seen my setup.
A room of this design is the best for achieving good sound, as it is like a small stage.

He has made the same experiences as me with sound.
Here are more pictures:

Most people build speakers to fit the room, but he builds the room to fit the speakers.

I can't afford these...

Graham
I figured your interest was piqued.

We talked for several hours, and this is a very short report of this conversation.
The conversation also resulted in a new purchase, as he had the solution to a years-long problem with digital noise that I have had with USB-based equipment.

Topping HS02 effectively eliminates such noise.

Mr. Chelo, maybe a Deja Vu factor for the same experience?

A rare coincidence.

Colin
This is just some of his equipment.
He also has a complex subwoofer system consisting of 8 cabinets; 4 pcs at the front and 4 pcs at the back in opposite phase with delay adjustment.

Many years ago I visited him at home, and he demonstrated his SVS subwoofer - this played down to 10Hz under intense pressure, which quickly caused nausea and irregular heartbeats.

My hexagonal sub goes down even further, to about 6Hz, but not with such extreme sound pressure.
Everything in the room moves, and you can almost see that the walls are "pumping" the sound.
