I think the best styles are the ones that work best for you. 
If you don’t like them or something about them remix them, edit them.

Out of the box styles need a lot of work, just my opinion.

You are absolutely right.

I have found only one exception, and that is the Ketron Audya 76 - almost everything is very well put together; nothing needs to be adjusted.
As a HiFi enthusiast, I have a different attitude to different tastes, as I believe that a Stradivarius should sound like a Stradivarius, and not like some very good violin.

Of all the models I've had, only the Audya 76, Pa700 and DGX-670 fulfill my goals as a HiFi enthusiast.

Pa5X does this only after very extensive edits, and the same applies to Genos1, which is a fantastically good arranger AFTER you've done extensive edits, but terrible before.

Even OASYS, Kronos and Nautilus require extensive edits for most of what is delivered "ready" for use.


He who has edited the styles above has done a lousy job.
