What’s not too like Pa5x
#1
A few months have not passed since getting the Pa5x.

I can honestly say as each day passes and the more I learn how to do things on it, the more I appreciate what an amazing workstation it is.

Everything is very intuitive and well layed out.

To all the people who have got rid of their Pa5x you must be daft.

Yes everyone is waiting for this much anticipated updates, but whilst it is incomplete for many for me it’s everything I could ask for in an Arranger Keyboard.

Agreed.

The Pa5X must be the world's most intuitive workstation - many even complex operations can be done without having to read the manual due to its intuitive layout.

I know that the Ketron Event has a better keybed and better sound, but the design is very different and non-intuitive.

The Pa5X's ability to create full-fledged styles from midi surpasses all models I've tried, and I highly doubt that the Event can do this as well.

Notice that I don't mention the Genos 1 or 2 at all.

So no matter how many new bugs there may be with OS 4.0, I can live with having to switch between the existing ones, because the vast majority of advanced features work.

The pa5x is the most attractive arranger of all, it has lovely design features ,while the ketron has better sounds it is at a much higher price as is the genos both light in weight and plasticky to look at, the ketron is not fully developed yet but, wait until it is and as yet difficult to play live ,while the genos is the style upon style upon style winner of all ..... hard to choose an arranger today

For me although the Ketron has better styles and sounds they are limited in how many they have. The korg for me has richer sounds, styles are good but the drums not as punchy until chello got his hands on them, then in most regards they are superb. The korg though has more advanced features, incredibly flexable and great potential.
Korg users seem to concentrate on the bugs and forget the genos has 14 updates, and still haven`t resolved some simple flaws shame on them.

Yamaha easier to navigate good all rounder with countless expansions and styles which brings it back in the mix.

Korg for me is the winner well-made, flexible richer sounds and if the updates are as good as they appear will be head and shoulders above the competition.

PS  Here in blighty PMT have gone into receivership the largest music dealership in the UK.
Sad that online businesses undercutting each other, then offering poor P/x prices which leaves us the consumer in a no win situation.

Also I have seen a spike in new companies online, selling styles/rgt and sounds that are readily available free on this site
please appreciate what we have this is the best site.

I also think the Korg pa5x is the best instrument ever released. For me a keeper next to my Genos
