WHAT DOES ONEDRIVE ACTUALLY DO WITH WINDOWS ?
I have good reason to ask this question:
When I recently built a new PC, it was super fast for a while, until suddenly (for some unknown reason) it got slower and slower.
Until yesterday it was actually the slowest PC I've ever had for file processing.
What has changed since yesterday ?
I uninstalled Windows OneDrive.
I have many hard drives, and one of these had, after uninstallation, been assigned new shaded folders, which contained system files for Windows.
The strange thing is that after the uninstallation, file processing works as normal - the PC is like new.
So I have good reason to question what the hell Microsoft is up to.
By the way, I had disabled all (available) automatic processes for OneDrive while I was using it, because this is MY PC; not Microsoft's.
My case gives reason to say:
Steer clear of Microsoft OneDrive !
