The accompanying text document says:
Audio demo sample is recorded on Pa4x in Sound Mode, please check assigned effects to make sure in Style play you have the right FX.

I have assigned the effects.
NO vibrato with the joystick, which makes it unusable.

Not as expected.

I thought the E guitars sounded good but others not so its dissapointing to hear the sound does not represent the one advertised.

I also thought the E guitars sounded good on the website - that's why I bought one.

I've played the demo several times, and played the same on the keyboard, but the sound is quite different; it lacks the raw tone.

And no vibrato with the joystick - the demo has no vibrato either, but I expect an electric guitar to have this:

An electric guitar sound on an arranger keyboard is expected to have vibrato via the joystick (or pitch-bend lever/wheel). Moving the controller sideways (X-axis) bends the pitch, while pushing it forward or pulling it back (Y-axis) often introduces or deepens the modulation/vibrato effect.

That one is from the Motif XS it's not one of my best guitars. I can definitely recommend several but the vibrato is a very easy setting to add in sound mode. It's on the pitch page on the EG tab

The E Mint or E Vintage (native instruments) guitars are more dynamic compared to.the Motif ones and have a fatter tone because they are sampled from a better source. Yamaha keyboards are a reasonable source for Synth sounds but overall they have terrible sound quality and I find their sounds to be lacking warmth. I didn't use any vibrato in the demo and the demo was recorded with the built in MP3 recorder with full velocity control and I do use my own maxx audio setting but it's very subtle

I agree that several other guitars are better, but it was this type that I chose that was of greater interest.

The E Mint or E Vintage is actually my favorites, and I was about to choose it instead.

And thank you very much for the information on how to add vibrato - this will give many of my sounds new life.

Don't forget to set the LFO shape to guitar or sine. I wish Korg used as many LFOs as the Roland JV and XV series had per oscillator but still plenty you can do with 2

As much as i apreciate the gentlemans advice, you bought the sound you heard, not a motif not a sound that needs editing.
I think you should be allowed to get a replacement sound, also so you can advice if this an anomoly or not.

Yeah I'm sending him the electric mint and some guitars from my private stash to compare. The sounds on he website are about 5% of the sounds I've made
