I am busy with setting the right recordings level

Mr Chello know everything about it

I have make a little piece of music  with the Yamaha Genos 2 and the Korg wave state and the korg Micro x


I want ask what you think of this recording and be honest so that i can make the recordings level different


This is a piece of music that not exist it is a piece of music that is out of myself  it means really noting this is only for the song and record levels nothing else soon i will start with making new song sets

The signal is too strong.
Both Wavestate and MicroX have too high dB - 
-2dB at most; heavily distorted.

Genos2 is also heavily overdriven at the beginning with -3dB.

Your Genos2 must therefore be adjusted down by -7dB, while Wavestate and MicroX must be adjusted down -8dB.
Otherwise everything sounds OK.

Genos had (also G2?) an automatic Vol Rec set to 90, which in many cases is too high.
A more appropriate value is 75-80 or lower.

Thanks Mr Chello it means i not need the program Audacity to make the Recording Lauder , when i Record in the Korg pa5x i always must use that program 

i think the Recording on the Genos 2 need that program not any more

That's correct - the Genos2 has a much higher output by default (90) - you actually need to reduce this to at least 75-80 to avoid distortion.

In Audio Quick Recording you need to reduce the volume from 90 to 75-80 or lower.

You never really needed Audacity for Pa5X either, because the volume can easily be adjusted up with Finalizer.
