STRANGE TREND AMONG DEMONSTRATION PERFORMERS

As previously mentioned, I have decided to acquire a synth; Yamaha MODX M - possibly as early as the end of December.

There are several reasons why I choose MODX M, but the most important is the setup with scenes, which makes it possible (and easy) to use the synth as an arranger, with intro, variations, fills and ending.

I would have liked to have heard demos of all performances with all scenes, but this does not exist.
Why does everyone demonstrate almost only piano sounds ?
There are almost no performances played where scenes with drums and bass are included (Arranger Performances).

This is very, very strange, because drums and bass more than anything else show what the instrument is good for.

The only real demos I have found are made by Zoltán with a Montage 7, and are not included when purchasing MODX M.

There is no overview in any available manual of which performances are included and how many scenes each one has.

I FINALLY FOUND A DATA LIST FOR MONTAGE M

I'm glad I found this list, because by studying it I can understand much better how everything works than by reading the manual itself.
The list should be identical to MODX, and can be used.

By studying this I became a lot wiser, but it also doesn't say anything about the number of scenes.

It is interesting to note that almost all arpeggios are 1, 2 or 4 bars long.
There are 10922 arpeggios - close to 250 with 8 bars long, over 20 with 16 bars, and many with 3, 5, 6 as well as cases with 7, 9, 10 and 14 bars distributed over different time signatures and instruments.

With such a large library of arpeggios it should be possible to create many "styles" in all categories.
It's also good that Yamaha has expanded the amount of 8-bar arpeggios, which provides more variety.

Thank you very much for your contribution to broaden my horizons.

Scenes must be considered a light version of an arranger, but the possibilities are still far greater, because each scene can be adapted in completely different ways.

The manual is very complex and not exactly easy to understand, but it seems that a lot can be modified also when it comes to scenes and their structure - each scene part can, for example, have up to 5 different choices.

I can't wait to get the MODX M, so that I can test this in practice.

Maybe I'll be satisfied..?
