REFUND AND TIME

When you buy a product and regret your purchase and request a refund, this can take time.

From the time the product is received in return, it can typically take 5-7 business days before the amount is in your account.

If you buy a Yamaha product, this is bound to a special agreement between the store and Yamaha - your payment goes directly to a central Yamaha department, and the store receives a commission from Yamaha.

Returns involve many unnecessary processes, and I experienced that it took 1 month before the money was refunded after the product was received by the store.

This violates the law that requires stores to refund within 14 days of receiving the product in return, but Yamaha does not care about this.


Conversely:
I ordered a product from AliExpress that they could not deliver, and contacted the seller to cancel the transaction - within a few minutes I got a response back in perfect Norwegian, and when I replied in English, I got a response immediately in perfect English.

And guess what ?
The money was back in my account immediately !!!

So maybe it's not so strange that I prefer to do all my shopping with AliExpress - Norwegian stores can go to hell..!
