Something that hasn’t really been covered that much.
Am I correct in thinking any changes made to the finalizer + limiter purely affects the style?

In my opinion - yes.
And the Finalizer collects all effects, which can very quickly result in varying effects of the active effects, because they all work logarithmically and have different presence ranges.
Thus, some effects will be more favored than others depending on the amplification used.
In addition, there is an additional and unfortunate compression of the sound image, and therefore I turn off the Finalizer for all my styles.
I don't know exactly what the theory says about this, but my practical tests show this.

It’s not something I’ve really touch on as yet, but as it’s at the end of the chain with maxx audio why is there a need for both? When both are global effects.

Finalizer is basically an advanced Master Control for effects that in theory should simplify the work with effects by being able to adjust everyone's level with a single knob.
In my opinion, it should never have been invented, and is not necessary.
I consider it a cornucopia that is not at all necessary - it is better to spend a little extra time and mix the old-fashioned way.
