I almost did the same thing, but changed my mind at the last minute, mostly because I would have lost too much money on a trade.
I'm a bit like you; a new instrument also provides new inspiration - I need something new every now and then, and anything new is tempting.
This time it was a MODX M, next time it will probably be a Tyros 4 and even later a MIDI accordion.
Ketron makes the best styles in my opinion, which you will notice if you use advanced chords - the variation changes a bit.
Ketron styles work a bit differently than others - they are more advanced.
All mixing is also done much better than others.

Yes, Mr. Chello, I do think we're a bit similar in this respect. I currently have the Genos and the Korg X50 together, a beautiful combination. The X50 has very nice synthesizer sounds. The flutes and ochestra sounds aren't that great, but the synthesizer sounds are very good and you can also completely manipulate them.
The Ketron, as I remember it from my Audiy5, sounds great. It just wasn't good enough, so I had to get rid of it. It kept changing keys, so I couldn't really use it with my other instruments. So unfortunately, I had to get rid of it.
Afterwards, it turned out the Yostick was broken.
So I think it's not such a bad choice, and I have something to study again. The value of both instruments is about the same.
And money isn't that important; I can't take it with me anyway, I'm not the youngest anymore.
And we'll see how it goes. I have my song styles in my Genos, and those are important to me, so I don't think I'll ever leave Yamaha. go, and the rest is secondary, a hobby costs money, one spends it on who knows what and I always did on new instruments, that's just the way I am, and luckily my wife can live with that, she knows what I'm like after 43 years together, she's seen them all, wow, too many to mention, just like you Mr Chello, and who knows, the Yamaha you buy might come along too, hahha

I also had the Audya5, but it didn't live up to my expectations.
I now have the Audya 76 which is pretty much the same, but has better keys.
Ketron are generally very good on drums.
The MODX M is very special, mostly because many of its features work with MIDI 2.0, which provides dramatically better data - the amount of velocity is much greater, for example, which is one of the most important things for me.

If you can afford it, buy the Ketron EVM and connect it too your PA5x.
I have the EVM connected to my Wersi OAX and the result is amazing - the wersi is a dream to play but the addition of the EVM takes it all to another level. I have built a small midi controller that connect to the EVM so I can control many functions without having to touch the EVM touchscreen - this system works very well.

I play in my living room and have three keyboards. Nothing else fits, not even a module. I'm doing this because I just want something new. I'm not getting rid of the PA5X because I don't like it; it's perfect and sounds perfect. I'm only getting rid of it to try something new. If I don't like it, I'll go back to the Korg PA5X. I've backed up all the software on a large drive so I can use everything again.
I've always done this, and I think I always will, so I'm only doing this to try something new.

What keyboard model(s) do you have ?: Genos korg Pa5x musikant Ketron EVM

I recently welcomed the Ketron EVM into my musical setup and connected it via MIDI to my Korg Pa5X Musikant. From the very first notes, it felt as though two kindred spirits had found one another.
The live styles of the Ketron breathe a warm, almost tangible musicality rhythms that move as if shaped by real hands. When this soundscape blends with the rich, expressive voices of the Korg, the result becomes more than just ‘sound’; it becomes an experience. It feels as if a full orchestra is summoned out of thin air, as though the music itself pauses to take a breath before unfolding.
This combination is not merely a technical connection, but a harmonious meeting, a fusion in which both instruments transcend themselves and become something greater together. It forms a sonic landscape that invites you to play, explore, and dream a musical journey I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking beauty, depth, and inspiration. Greeting Marc
