@Elad
Thanks for a very interesting input. The area still exists, and I have moved this to Category 20, and at the same time created the area Member`s DIY Projects, where this thread has now been moved to. I have not had time to submit my previous projects, but will do so when I find time for it. The JBL M2 represents some of the best on the market, but requires extremely much to be able to build. As you say, in your posted examples there is no precise description of what parts are needed to complete the project. The video demonstrates that this project will pose a major challenge when it comes to machining - the machines he uses are of the type found in professional workshops, and very few will be able to afford (or have space) to buy these. The saw is one example, the 3D printer another, the milling machine a third - besides a lot of smaller machines and tools (including expensive Bessey clamps). I have several Bessey, which are the best on the market. I have 2 workshops, but by no means as good equipment as in the video. The saw alone would in Norway have cost as much as the JBL M2. A project like this means that you must have suitable equipment, and be able to use this. First of all, you need to get a complete list of contents of parts for the speaker, which can be difficult. The video shows that there exist a 3D drawing for the horn, which may be obtained from the person who made the M2 on the video. He may also be helpful in obtaining the said list of contents. I have never been a "copyist" - I previously had a project where I made my variant of Paradigm Signature Sub 2, consisting of completely different components than the original. This is my strength; to improvise alternatives that work. My "Paradigm" cost about 2500 € to realize. I would have liked to use 6.5 "units instead of 8", but then the price would have been significantly higher.
