ZOMBIES IN THE WORKPLACE
There is something seriously wrong with people in the workplace in general.
In the space of a few days, I had 3 experiences of incompetence among employees:
I bought tobacco in a store, came home and discovered that it was so dry that it was unsmokeable and unusable.
Back in the store, it also turned out that I had been given the wrong type (due to legislation, all brands have the same color and appearance). I got a new one, which was also too dry.
A trip to the pharmacy:
I stood at the checkout that had 2 terminals and 2 employees.
One terminal was busy with a customer, while the other had a employee with huge silicone-filled lips and long white nails smiling at me.
I waited in vain for the idiot (who was foreign of course) to process me, until I exploded and said:
"Isn't there anyone processing here?!"
This woke the zombie.
That same day I bought a new pack of tobacco in another store, came home and discovered that it was as dry as I have ever seen in all the years I have smoked.
Tobacco in Norway is very expensive; almost 400 Norwegian kroner for 43 grams of rolling tobacco.
I am not paying a fortune for something that should never have been sold.
So tomorrow morning I have to go to the store and exchange it, and check if the new one is the same.
If they refuse to exchange it, this will have consequences they cannot imagine.
It is soon the case that everything that is purchased must be checked, because the employees are not doing their job - they are zombies.
