I HAVE HAD MY PA5X FOR 3 YEARS TODAY

What can I say ?
A beloved child has many names, as we say in Norwegian.

There have been countless ups and downs - I have posted at least 80 negative comments, many of which have been about bugs/functions that don't work.

OS updates have fixed many things and made the keyboard better, but also caused several basic functions to no longer work.

Here's what I particularly appreciate - still:
* The Pa5X must be the world's easiest and most intuitive keyboard to use
* The screen is the best on the market, and is incredibly free of fingerprints even without cleaning
* Midi to style has never been as good as it is now, and the new Style Creator Bot exceeds all expectations

Here's what I don't like:
* The buttons do not meet the expected standard, as they hang up due to dirt that accumulates between the button and its frame
* The number of black spots on the buttons is constantly increasing
* The joystick lives a life of its own, and it is impossible to use modulation as I am used to
* Chord changes are not always detected (OS 1.4)
* Most 13th chords do not work (OS 1.4)
* TRS connections are not of the same quality as before - the plug sometimes has to be pulled out a little to avoid noise
* The keybed is just good enough but should have been better
* The panel surface is grooved, which makes cleaning very difficult
* All types of installation are a daily nightmare due to Korg's idiotic fixed choice of file location - it should have been possible to enter your own fixed choices

OS 1.4 may have supposedly fixed some issues, but the advanced features I've tested still don't work. Os 1.4 has also created new basic issues worse than any previous OS, causing chord changes to often not be registered when you play, and most 13th chords to not work.
I use these chords a lot, but I can't use them anymore..!!!

Korg has made the world's best arranger, but they seem to be focused on only adding new features, and obviously don't test basic features before releasing OS updates.

OS 1.4 was supposed to fix all existing issues, but this hasn't happened - new ones have appeared, far worse than ever.

Despite all this, Pa5X is my preferred arranger, but I have to switch between OS 1.2.1/1.3/1.3.1/1.4 all the time to make necessary edits..!

For me that Pa5x is an amazing arranger having a great time learning what it can do obviously a huge step up from the Pa700. Have had so much to do on the Pa5x not had time to explore the Genos as yet.

I will also claim this - with Pa5X it is easier than ever to create new styles far faster and better than with any other arranger.

All menus are designed to be intuitive and self-explanatory, and all effects are very good and easy to learn to use.

I have created several standard setups, and there is always one that works.
