PA5X: MULTIPADS SOUND LEVEL - TERRIBLY MIXED

I don't know why I haven't discovered this before, but it's probably because I rarely or never use MultiPads.

It's shocking to discover that the MultiPads have such a low level that they are barely audible - the levels have to be adjusted up to 127 for them to get a normal level..!

This also proves that my idea that the style part level of typically 110 is too high - 70 to 80 would have been more appropriate to achieve a better balance between style and pads.

Korg has also used the Limiter far too much to adjust the overall level, and very often allows style parts with a level of 127, which effectively chokes the multipads, even if these are adjusted to 127.

The overall output level is also too high (without MultiPads), which in several cases gives maximum response for external meters = distortion.

The Pa5X's internal level meter is incorrectly calibrated, and although this shows a yellow level, it shows red on external meters.

Korg is about to do mixing in a way that is as bad as Yamaha.
The result of this is that I as a user have to correct all the styles, because they are all incorrectly mixed.

your 100% right with the multipads you would think this would be a simple fix, however they seem all over the place some dont work are too low 
In the setup it should include multipad levels.

I'm currently working on making new edits for all of the Pa5X's internal styles (again..!).

I've found a reverb that's better suited than the one Korg uses as standard - Early Reflections gives much better punch and attach; especially in the bass range.

At the same time I'll be correcting the levels for the MultiPads, which is easy to do.
