THE ADVANTAGES OF DOUBLE DRUM KITS

THE ADVANTAGES OF DOUBLE DRUM KITS

Why is it that I am the only one who makes styles with double drum kits ?
Producers seem to be locked into the belief that audio drums are the solution.

I am convinced that audio drums are NOT the solution, for one simple reason:
Audio drum elements cannot be edited with an editor, as they consist of wave-based sounds.
MIDI-based drum elements, on the other hand, can be edited endlessly.

When I also use double drum kits, these can be tailored together to form a new drum kit that does not exist, either as audio or midi.

Each element in both kits can be adjusted individually with the Drum Editor, which gives a much greater chance of achieving the drum kit that is desired.

It is strange to note that all arrangers only have one drum kit and one perc kit, when they could have had two drum kits instead.

It's common for synths to have multiple drum kits, so why on earth don't arrangers have this too ?

I only know of one other person who does the same as me, and that's Paul J. Drongowski, who he has converted from the original Yamaha DJX-II patterns - he actually uses 2 and 3 drum kits for Yamaha arrangers..!
Shared knowledge provides increased knowledge

If we all share everything we have, we all have everything
