WHY YOU SHOULD CHOOSE PA5X OVER PA4X

WHY YOU SHOULD CHOOSE PA5X OVER PA4X

I HAVE had a Pa4X 61, but no longer do.
I have also had a Pa1X 61, Pa2X Pro, Pa3X 61 and Pa700, while I now have a Pa5X 76.

I still have the keybed from the Pa1X 61; the keyboard was crushed by the shipping company when it was being shipped, and I disassembled it.

As far as I know, the keysize on the Pa5X is the same as on the Pa4X, but the construction is different; the keys are longer (and mechanically much better) on the Pa5X, but have the same width.

The Pa1X 61 has much shorter black keys than the Pa5X and feels a little easier to press, as well as being quieter.
The Pa1X Pro is probably even better and the best of all Pa models.
The Pa2X Pro is a bit heavier to press than the Pa1X 61.
The Pa3X 61 is the worst of all and very heavy to press, and the Pa4X 61 has exactly the same keybed as the Pa3X 61.

I don't know what the Pa4X 76 is like, but there is usually a big difference between the 61 and 76 versions, with the 76 version being the best.

The Pa5X 76 is a step in the right direction anyway, with a keybed that is almost as good as the Pa1X 61, and significantly better than the Pa4X 61.

For me, the quality of the keybed is the most important thing of all.
