IN ONE AREA THE PA5X IS THE WORST OF ALL PA MODELS

IN ONE AREA THE PA5X IS THE WORST OF ALL PA MODELS

I believe I have a solid basis for claiming this, because I have tested a significant amount of styles since August 2022.
Yamaha styles have never worked very well, but work even worse on the Pa5X, apart from some from the PSR 9000/Pro.

Roland has previously worked quite well on previous models, but not on the Pa5X.
Ketron has worked very well, but not on the Pa5X.
Technics has also worked quite well, but not on the Pa5X.
Styles from Wersi, GEM and Kawai have also worked partly very well before, but not on the Pa5X.

I have tested just about every model from Yamaha, most from Roland, Ketron, Technics, Wersi, GEM and Kawai.
There are only a few models that I have not tested.

Limiter cannot be used with any styles from other manufacturers, because the sound is distorted to the point of unbearable.
Styles from midi with Style Works are also very difficult to get right - there are almost never good enough substitute sounds, and all effects work differently than normal.
Limiter cannot be used on styles from midi either.

I have only experienced something similar once before, and it was with Genos1, which was even worse, because no other previous model's styles worked satisfactorily, and styles from midi were almost impossible to get right, which is extremely strange, because almost all midis are XG.

Of all the keyboards I've had, there are 2 that stand out in terms of functionality with styles from other manufacturers as well as midi-based styles:

The Yamaha A-3000 is the absolute best, while the DGX-670 was close to this.
Ketron Audya is also among the absolute best in this area.

It is quite sick that "the 2 best" are actually the two worst as far as styles from other manufacturers and midi-based styles are concerned.
