I have played a little trick with my new way of creating styles, which I have called Poly-Style.
Not quite correct of me, as I misunderstood Qui a bit.

Nevertheless - this is a simple and effective way to change styles.

On demo no. 2 I have replaced the drums and bass with patterns from the dance style Don't Start Dance.
Only that.

On demo no. 3 I have also edited with Drum Editor and added FX effects.

Yes, it is incredibly effective.
It can be improved by changing the drum kit and bass selection, plus I have exaggerated the use of FX effects - everything is very roughly set.

I really like the bass and drums on that Freestyle, you selected some great patterns to make that style!

I trust my musical intuition, and know from experience that the intuitive immediate choice is often the best.
I have tried other choices, but I come back to my intinuitive every time as the best.

It may seem that the key lies in finding patterns that do not deviate too much from the original ones, and not change too much.

This is probably difficult for many to perform, but tasks like this trigger my musicality and creativity.

I totally agree, finding patterns that match well and complement each other takes some experience and can be hard when you just start doing it. But it's so much fun to do and experiment with.

The technical steps to do it are very easy to learn (as I showed in my tutorial), but it does indeed takes some time to master, but that's part of the learning process and once you have created a few fantastic styles with your own ideas, I can guarantee that it's highly addictive. 

And the bonus part of this is that you can modify any style in any way you want on the korg pa5x itself. Let's say you play a Freestyle and you want Rock drums on variation 3 and 4, just do it and a new style is created (actually this is one of the latest styles I created this way, a freestyle with rock drums, so nice to build up the song that way).

Exactly.

A style that has an unfortunate variation or whatever, can easily be turned into a perfect style in this way.

And the possibilities are absolutely unique when it comes to Freestyle, of which there are only 6 pieces.
We can make as many as we want, without having to depend on Korg or others doing it for us.
