HOW STUPID THINGS HAVE BECOME

Even though society is "evolving", one can sometimes wonder if everything is developing towards the caveman stage.

One example is telephony:
I recently changed operator, and kept (of course) my old number.

A new SIM card was supposed to arrive within a few days, and my previous subscription was automatically terminated on January 13th and the new one activated.

The problem is that I did not receive the new SIM card, so I am without a phone.

I made an inquiry early to avoid problems, but the only answer I have received is that I have been assigned a case number, and that they may call me to confirm that I am me..!

How the hell am I supposed to answer a telephone inquiry when I don't have a phone ?!
Their response also states:
If your inquiry concerns a SIM card or lack of activation, please call our customer service.

Also, I can't access my PayPal, because logging in requires confirmation by SMS...
Damn security systems, which lock people out of their own lives !!!

YOU HAVE TO Scold PEOPLE TO BE HEARD

Immediately after I wrote this post, I wrote a very abusive message to the telephone company.

Today I was told that a new SIM card was on its way.

Why is it that you have to scold people in order for them to do their job properly ?

This is the only language they understand and relate to; if you speak normally, you will not be followed up.

...but I am still a VIKING, and can express myself clearly and distinctly when necessary.
