Changing the ‘default’ APPS on your computer/laptop
#3
MAC

1.  Right-click on the file and in the drop-down box click ‘Get Info’.
2.  In the next drop-down box that appears on the left of the screen, click ‘Open With’.
It shows the name of the current default App that will open the file.
You may have to click on the arrow to the left of Open With to see what this is.
3.  Click on the name of the Default App.
In the drop-down box that appears, clicking on ‘Other...’, then ‘Applications’ will give you a list of the other Apps in the Applications Folder on your computer.
4.  Click on the App you want to open the file .. and then click Add.
5.  Take a look at the drop-down box where it was showing the Default App for opening the file.
The new App you selected will now be showing as the Default App.
Underneath you will see the words ‘Use this application to open all documents like this one’ .. and the words under this, ‘Change All...’ have now become ‘live’ in that you can now click on those words.
So do that, and when asked, Confirm that you want this change to be permanent.
All files with that ending will now open up with the App you have selected.
