James (Tyros) and I have reversed roles, and he has started the ball rolling by recording Somethin’ Stupid on his Korg Pa5X. As mentioned above, his Korg records directly to MP3 .. and he can AUDIO MULTITRACK the MP3 directly without having to turn it into some other format.
With a suitable STYLE selected, James has recorded the MELODY first, using Clarinet and Harmonica as his main instruments. He then did an Audio Multitrack on his MP3 using Accordion.
Have a listen to how his recording has turned out.

He then sent the MP3 file on to me by email attachment for me to add a ‘duet’ part to the song using my Yamaha Tyros 4. As described above, I had to turn the MP3 file into an AUD file in order to Audio Multitrack it, and then do a MIXDOWN to get it back into an Audio format that people could listen to. The instrument I have used to do this is Orchestral Oboe.
So here below is a piece of music created on a Korg Pa5X and then ‘added to’ with a Yamaha Tyros 4. Two different instruments; two different parts of the country; working together on a piece of music.
