Listening to the PARTS in a STYLE
#2
You'll probably say to me that from it's very name, Orchestral Ballad has an orchestra playing, and if I remove the STRINGS from PAD, then I have just removed the 'orchestra' from the Style.  True, but if you listen to those PARTS in my DEMO above, that doesn't sound to me like an orchestra playing. And the STRINGS in particular are not like how I imagine orchestral strings would play.

I wanted to use this STYLE to play I Love You Because, and replaced the STRINGS with a LEFT HAND VOICE .. Analog Pad.

In the DEMO below I have used this STYLE to play a verse of I Love You Because, first using the Left Hand Voice Analog Pad and switching PAD in the STYLE to OFF; followed by the STYLE 'as is' (ie. with all the PARTS playing, including the STRINGS in PAD) and NO Left Hand Voice.

I know which I prefer!

Hugh

PS. The little counter melodies are NOT from a MULTI PAD. I split the keyboard in two places and put Ambient Piano into RIGHT3 .. putting the octave down a couple of notches so it was playing at the right pitch to blend in with the melody.
It's all about the music!
