Is it me or have arranger keyboard players gone into hiding?
Right accross the board both on forums, and facebook groups there are lots of people posting videos of performances but hardly any discussions about the creative side creating styles or new sounds etc. Someone on one of my Yamaha groups mentioned about the low participation in it. I was quick to point out that this is the case in pretty much all platforms not just one.

There is nothing wrong with your observation.
I've been noticing the same thing for a long time, and it's becoming more and more obvious.
Never before has activity been so low, and this applies to all forums.
This is strange, because musicians have their own ability to ignore everything that happens in the world, and live their own lives.
I live my life unaffected by what happens around me.

Exactly I try my hardest to put out material that I think maybe of use to players but with little or no feedback you think its a pointless exercise.
So now I pretty much focus on my own learning.

I understand what you mean and I feel the same way.
Lack of feedback - even if I stop posting, there is no reaction.
I wonder if they would have reacted if the site was closed..?

Neither me or my keyboards are going anywhere. And don’t close the forum, it’s a great sounding box and Chellos knowledge has been invaluable to me.

hi all
with all respect for everything you all posted on forums...but lots of it I dont understand...I wouldnt even know how to start making a style or investigate a keyboard completely...I am
nearly 66 now and my interest lies in sheet music and how to use my keyboards...that why I have a E 463 and a Tyros 1...I have other interests like writing...painting...bicycling etc...thus its logical I cant
give comments on investigations on PA5X and other keyboards I cant even afford...never the less I have a lot of admiration and respect for chello....musical memories...and other members that they supply all this information...
I only play at home coz it relaxes me...
but as said all the info on this forum is fantastic and some of the things I even read ...so go on guys exploring technical things on keyboards but I cannot do that...
hope never the less that this forum never disappeares...another thing why I dont reply is I dont understand a lot of it....
but a thank you very much for all articles is necessary so keep going !!!!
greetings
yves

The general attitude of people today, they easily complain but never think of giving gratitude for help given.
It's the same on all forums. People want help (questions) but when given they do not respond at all with a thank you.
My wife says I use thank you too many times, but it makes me feel better and possibly helps the other person's day.

Edit Reason: faults
)
saying thank you is the least you can do...its a form of respect and gratitude...but as I said its like driving a car...I can do it but dont have a clue how a motor works and not interested also...I studied languages and history and nothing technical...but again I am sure all efforts and articles are read by many....so lets keep this forum going its the best on w.w.w!
thanks
yves
