Exactly - Thank you..? 
Now you have the opportunity to carry out service yourself; the commands are described on page 65 onwards.

However, I would not recommend this, if you do not know exactly what you are doing, because you can damage the keyboard's hardware.

In any case, the service manual is a must-have, because it describes all conceivable problems and how to troubleshoot/correct them.

Only thing If I did, would be to upgrade the memory.

My Tyros4 developed of fault not long after I got it, the whole board for the left side had to be replaced as did board for the buttons on the left side of the screen. It wasn’t cheap.

It will probably take quite a while before the service manual for the Tyros5 becomes available.
Maybe some time after the sequel to Genos is launched.

For example, I have the service manual for Korg Pa3X, and the one for the Pa4X is still not available even after the Pa5X came on the market.

how bizarre a friend of mine asked if i knew where to get a service manual for the  T4 due to a fault. And suddenly you post this. I think Chello is telepathic lol

Funny that you say that, because many have said this before you.

From when I was little (3-4 years) my mother asked me to do things I had already done, and when she said I could do something else instead, I had already done this too.
The same thing happened again when my father, my siblings, uncles, aunts and grandparents asked me - I had already done it.
My time in working life and organizations have had the same history - they asked me to do something I had already done.

I don't know if I'm telepathic, but I've always had a tremendously good memory and intuition.
