In the real world how much better is the Pa5x to the Pa4x.
It’s not until you physically own the new models that you can decide or make a comparison.
So if you was to sit a Pa4x and a Pa5x next to each other and do a real comparison, or a Tyros next to a Genos 2.
Are there any features or functionality that you miss from the previous models.

Yamaha's introduction of the Tyros1 was groundbreaking, and resulted in Technics having to close down its arranger department.
At the same time, the difference between Tyros1 and Tyros4 is enormous in terms of improved user-friendliness.
In my opinion, Genos1 is less user-friendly than Tyros4/5, but can produce better sound with many edits done.
Genos1 is the worst thing I've tried when it comes to getting styles from previous models to sound good - no sounds work optimally, and styles made from midi with Style Works are almost impossible to get right.
Korg's introduction of the Pa5X was groundbreaking, with a brand new OS where ease of use was the focus.
Right out of the box, however, the Pa5X performs worse than the Pa4X/Pa700, because everything is mixed worse, and extensive edits are required for the Pa5X to sound better than the Pa4X/Pa700.
But on two points, the Pa5X is superior to all other models regardless of brand:
Styles from all previous Pa models work quite well, and styles made from midi with Style Works sound incredibly good without edits, which is exceptional, because this only applies to the Pa5X.
The first OS didn't manage this, but later updates have really made Pa5X a real winner in this regard.
So what is best depends very much on the user's needs and knowledge, but Pa5X is a winner in any case due to its formidable ease of use.
For many, the Tyros4 may be a better choice than the Genos1, because almost all styles from previous models work well on this, and it is relatively user-friendly.
For many, the Pa4X/Pa700 may be a better choice than the Pa5X, because these offer almost the same editing options as the Pa5X, but are better mixed.
For me, there is only the Pa5X as an alternative because I primarily create styles from midi, and no model can do what the Pa5X can.
