WHY I DON'T LIKE AUDIO STYLES
I've played audio styles on various models, but primarily on Audya.
I've also made many audio styles for Audya.
But why don't I like them ?
THEY EASILY GET OUT OF SYNC
Audio styles use waves for drums/perc, and Audya can also often use waves for other sounds in ACCs.
These all have a limited tempo range, and when you use multiple waves in the same style, this can quickly cause the rhythm to get out of sync - drums and eg guitar crashing with the rest of the style.
This happens even if all audio parts are playing in their ideal tempo range - play an 8 bar style over eg 32 bars and see what happens; the style gets out of sync.
If you program advanced and use different audio drums in the variations, everything will easily get out of sync as you change variations.
If you use a tempo that is on the border of the recommended, the same thing will happen.
I have many examples of this with my Audya.
Another reason I don't like audio styles is that they have limited editing capabilities.
