Nothing Beats Experimenting
#1
The one thing I have learned with all arranger keyboards Ive owned over the years is the best way is to sit down and experiment.

More so now there are so many tutorials and videos out their each telling you how to do this or that eventually information overload sets in.

As long as you remember to save and backup regularly you can always revert back.

Most importantly learn to use your ears as you change any parameters, for example a guitar amp. Learn what happens to a guitar sound as you adjust the bass, mid and treble or the many different amp or cabs you can select.

When layering sounds think outside the box you literally have 1000s of sounds at your fingertips try experimenting with sounds you’ve never tried and layer them, try them in unison or octaves, pan them or define them.
There is so much you can do to manipulate the sounds on our arranger keyboards. Just keep saving your work to a keyboard set.

Nothing else has taught me as much as experiments have - completely insane ideas can often yield surprisingly positive and groundbreaking results.

And tutorials ?
I only use them when I'm completely stuck.

Layering sounds (Keyboard Sets) provide unlimited possibilities for easily creating new sounds that don't exist.
Here, synth sounds are a formidable resource, and it's easy, for example, to create a blues harmonica with a synth layer that is better than any found on any arranger or synth.

One way to do the same with sounds in the left section is to use MultiPads and Matrix pads, and these can be created with sequences taken from the current style, but with slightly different sounds (and effects) than the style.
Shared knowledge provides increased knowledge
