THIRD-PARTY SOUNDS AND WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU
Most users seem to think that the sounds they buy are Plug & Play, but in my experience they are not, and this especially applies to drum kits.
Drum kits, as is well known, consist of 8 drum elements (or more, because several are often together), and these can sound very different from keyboard to keyboard, plus the effects used will work differently than for internal drum kits.
This requires something from the user:
You have to know how to make the necessary adjustments to make the kit fit the current style - if this is not done, the result can sound terrible, even if the kit is very well made.
It would then be very wrong to blame the creator, because it is YOU who causes it...
Mixing sound is not as easy as many people think, and it requires years of experience as well as good equipment/good ears.
Many sounds also require the user to activate various parameters themselves, as these are often not activated.
This also applies to sounds from Global Sound - I found all organs unusable, because I did not know that some parameters had to be activated - they were deactivated.
