I tried all possible configurations with the USB isolator, but it needs an external power supply to be able to give a signal to all devices.
Finally, I connected the sound card directly to the USB isolator, and got a shock:
The noise from the Gold 5 is not attenuated in the slightest..!
There is therefore no point in investing in either an extra power supply or more USB isolators, because the noise remains the same.
So the only possible solution to get rid of the noise is to place the monitors as far away from the keyboard and other devices as possible, which is unrealistic - they are supposed to be near-field monitors..?!
I'm building one myself - WITHOUT noise problems, which will have a much better sound - guaranteed !!!
I would like to think about buying old Tannoys, but NOT newer ones !!!
