I would say that you have now done 1/3 of the work.

Styles: Okay
Pads: ?
Sounds: ?

You can do the same with pads and sounds, then everything will be completed.

I didn't know how to do this, but I just figured it out.
On the Pa5X we have an icon at the bottom right of the screen, which is automatically selected to show Pads/Kbd edit.
I have always pressed this to select Style edit, and have never checked what Pads/Kbd actually are.

Everything is very simple; easier than on any other keyboard.

Yes sounds. I’ve lots of keyboard set that I’ve created which I’ve worked as I learn something.

here is an example what you can do with just one style when you modify a few things (see the changes below the video)


to create this video this was my approach:
when I played the original style called BittersweetDance (from the bonusware volume 32), I had the feeling to modify it to a classic dance track. So these where the changes i made:

- increased the tempo of the original style (this sometimes gives a complete other feeling to a style)
- assigned other sounds to the style parts (not the drums)
- assigned new sounds for the keyboard set
- for the main pad sound I created a sidechaining feel by assigning an LFO to the volume of the main pad (this is a square lfo where the offset of the square is set to the afterbeat)
- for the quiet bridge part I replaced the Pad knobs with a pad from the pad library (giving it that Jean Michel Jarre feel, this starts at 1:00)
- I replaced the insert and master effects
- I changed the sound color palette with a few EQ modifications
- then i played a famous tune from 1999 called Alone in the dark from Airwave 

So when you compare it to the original style you can clearly hear all the edits i created.
