So I was watching another video from someone we don’t like to mention singing the Praises of Genos once again, pointing out that if only the preset styles were available then he would have got rid of it ages ago.
Thinking about this it really comes down to the end user :-
How creative you are
How in depth you know your arranger
How much homework you have done in maximising how you can really get the best out of your arranger
If there are any bugs do you know any work arrounds
Think of a style as one of those custom car programs that strip a car down to the bare bones and the rebuild from the ground up into an enhanced version of the car or something completely different.
You have two different routes you can take.
Can you take a preset style and turn it into something completely different sounding?

@Musical Memories
My experience with most people over a long working life is that only a few are creative - they want stable, predictable tasks, and avoid challenging tasks.
When they come home after work, they prefer to come to a set table, where everything is arranged by others.
If they sit down with a keyboard, they want the same thing - that everything is ready for use.
In short, most people are not creative by nature.
The possibilities are endless for those who are creative by nature; both in working life and at home.
A keyboard (workstation) is a technical marvel that gives creative people almost endless possibilities to create their own music, if they use their creative abilities and a little time to understand how everything works.
A style is actually built up like a custom car program, and allows with fairly simple measures to be changed to the unrecognizable.
You can change just about anything, but the most important of all tools is what I would call an arpeggiator, and this is only found on very few keyboards.
Genos has this, as it is possible to use the patterns from all styles individually - you can take, for example, the intro from one style and paste it into another; you can copy and paste any element as you like.
Unfortunately, this is a very little talked about feature.
Ketron Audya can do the same, but is far more advanced, while it is far easier to do this with Audya than with Genos.
Audya is still the world's most advanced keyboard, but unfortunately based on discontinued hardware.
The Pa5X is prepared for the use of an arpeggiator, and Korg has indicated that this will come later, although as the market is now nothing can be said for sure about anything.
There is software from EMC that can retrieve patterns (arpeggios) from almost all brands and models on the market, as long as these are retrieved from the model's original styles. This software is called Style Factory, and is available for both Yamaha and Korg, but is complex to use - I have both versions.
However - the truly creative can create exactly that style he wants as he wants with his own patterns, with any keyboard from scratch - this is a standard option on all somewhat advanced keyboards.
You have created styles yourself from scratch with your Pa700, but this is something only a few do.
Perhaps you should continue this creative work.
