There is an alternative way to create a style from "scratch":

Open any style, and copy what you want from another (e.g. Acc 5), paste it where you want (e.g. Acc 1), and continue like this until you have created a style that is unique.

The only challenge consists in choosing patterns that have a similar meter (e.g. 4/4), CV Length (e.g. 8 bars) and similar tonal composition.
Also be aware that all effects and EQ settings from selected patterns are copied to your new style, which can give strange results.

As far as I know, this can also be done with the Genos1/2 and Ketron Audya, but not as easily as with the Pa5X.
(Audya is actually much easier to do this with than Genos).

Yes; in principle very simple, but getting them to fit together is challenging, which can be well illustrated if you use Variations which are almost exactly the same, except that the tempo is twice as fast - you end up with Variations that behave like if there were twice as many bars as there actually are.

If the tempo is half, the result will be the opposite.

I will make an overview of all styles' time signature, number of bars and tempo, so that it will be easier to find theoretically suitable styles.
