How good are the acoustic pianos?
Pretty standard, if you ask me.
Acoustic piano is probably the most complex instrument of all, and requires a dedicated sound engine and the possibility of very large samples.
Kronos is as far as I know the only one that can do this, with a dedicated sound engine plus use of the hard drive for samples.
Kronos has delivered the best acoustic pianos of all I have had.
OASYS cannot do the same, because this does not use the hard drive for samples.
Pa5X like all other arrangers has only one sound engine, which will always involve a compromise, and must be based on the largest possible samples.
