Many years ago I played piano in a couple of 'bands' (one a Scottish Country Dance Band). We all had the chords of the piece we were playing written out in front of us, and as a result I have never felt the need to 'read music'. People say I 'play by ear', but a better description would be that I 'play by chords'. Gender: Male Country:

Can anybody suggest a STYLE with a BANJO backing for playing dixieland music on my Tyros 4 .. apart from one I have found .. Dixieland in Swing & Jazz. ie. no guitars in the backing thank you.

Colin,
 You've nailed it! They all have a very prominent BANJO playing in the backing. I shall be using No: 5 and No: 7 as they seem the best ones for what I want to play. No: 5 doesn't have a RHYTHM section .. but I have found a suitable rhythm from another STYLE so will import that into RHYTHM 2 of No: 5.
