PA5X: NOT POSSIBLE TO IMPORT A SPECIFIC SET
When the Import failed: conversion error message appears.
Solution:
If this SET contains multiple subfolders in the STYLE folder with BANK01, Favorites01, User01, etc., split these up, and import one and one folder after adding, for example, Favorites01 into STYLE, which in turn is added to the SET folder, which in turn is added to the main folder.
You will then be able to find which subfolder is causing the error message and exclude it from the import, and be able to install all other subfolders.
Example:
A SET that caused the Conversion error message contained 30 folders in the STYLE folder.
The finished installation contained only 12 folders, while there should have been 30.
To locate the error I made 90 folders, each of which I named as Dopamine Kalou PA900 1 of 30, Dopamine Kalou PA900 1 of 30.SET, and STYLE.
BANK01 was added in STYLE, STYLE was added in the SET folder, and the SET folder was added in Dopamine Kalou PA900 1 of 30.
The same process was copied until all source files (BANK, etc) had been placed in its subfolder and main folder.
The next step will be to remove the incorrectly installed Dopamine Kalou PA900 folder from Pa5X's DISK to avoid ending up with duplicate folders.
Then all 30 SETs are imported as normal.
Test completed.
The result was that only SET 1-11 could be installed - all the others gave the error message generic error.
However, some styles worked as normal, while others did not want to start.
Each import that caused the error message also caused a new error message if a new import was attempted - not enough memory, and the import was not possible to carry out.
The last installed SET with error message had to be deleted with the DISK Connection function, and after this was done, new import could be started.
For each import with error notification, this process had to be repeated.
This test shows that Pa5X's OS is very stable, because restart was unnecessary along the way; even after 19 error messages.
No other PaX model has been so stable.
