PA5X: NOT ENOUGH MEMORY - CAUSE AND HOW TO FIX

If the message not enough memory pops up when you try to import (or install in the usual way) a SET or other, the cause is most often that something has been installed incorrectly with subsequent message conversion error before this.


Solution:
Locate the SET that has caused the error message, press FILE, then MENU, and select USB Connection/ENABLE.
Locate the SET in the KORG DISK folder on your PC via File Explorer, and delete it.

This removes the SET, and also removes the cause of the problem - import and installation can now be done without the out-of-memory error message.

Alternative solution:

If the SET folder contains, for example, several individual styles (.STY), you can try to enter only one style at a time.

This will indicate the style(s) causing the problem - there are usually only one or few styles that do not work.

So try with only one style in the SET folder, and if this works, continue with the rest, and when an error message occurs, this means that you have located the style that is causing the problem - delete this.

This type of error message has no consequences for further Import / Installation - you can continue without having to delete installed files that have given the error message.
