Now I have received and installed a new battery pack on Pa3X.
Ordered from Subtel in Germany, and it only took 2 days from it was sent until it was in my mailbox.
Korg`s manual says that when the battery pack does not work properly, this will result in a longer start-up time for the keyboard.
This is not correct, because in my case it went faster with a bad battery.
This is actually logical, because Pa3X is not able to load all the sounds if the battery is bad - this can be ascertained by testing different sounds - some only sound like "blop".
I noticed the same thing when I recorded in Mp3 format; some sounds were replaced with blops, although everything sounded ok when I played.
I expect to receive the RAM chip maybe tomorrow, and then I can start experimenting with trying to convert my Kronos SF2 drums to KMP, and test them on the keyboard - I guess Pa3X will outperform my previous reference A3000.
