Playing Free And install the Korg Pa5x
#1
Wow it is great  what a sound comes out of this keyboard and with my yamaha Hs 8 it really sound amazing

so much to do were you must begin , you will say by the begin and i say were is the begin there is so much to learn.

I am busy with take the keyboard sets from different styles  so many are sound so good i think it is endless.

And the most time i have noting to do on the voices in that keyboard set it really sound amazing.

When Yamaha want beat this instrument the really must do a lot of work on the Yamaha Genos 2  .

And one thing this what i write about the Korg Pa 5x  Is what i think of it, and i was always a Yamaha player and always love the sound from Yamaha

But i keep saying it from the whole series from Yamaha i think the Tyros 4 sound the best that is what i remember

The Genos i never was really happy with it I have it 3 times in my life  and still i really not mis it one second

The genos players say to mee Rob not do it , but Mr Chello make the choice for me
never Mr Chello talk so good about a Instrument as the Korg Pa 5x

I remember Mr Chello have Genos from the start he say no this is really not a good instrument and he sold it and he say never i will buy it again

From the Korg pa5x from the begin he only talk good about it ok som bugs but ever ting have bugs when it is complete new also Genos 2 will have it but we all know there comes upgrades and that make the machine better and better

And i work now 2 weeks i think with the Korg i really find nothing that not work good.

Now i must say the insite of this instrument i think i never find complete how everything works and that is no need for me

There will be people that makes the files, and i will buy it from them . it is no need to learn everything playing  is super wow this is what i wanted together with my Wavestate and Roland JDXI i think it is enough But maybe The genos 2 becom super only time will tell

Only i can not test the Yamaha styles anymore  when i place a style song style by a set people must test it by there self

That is the only thing  and my newest Demos will be with the styles song styles of the Korg pa 5 x

@Rob

Most people who have tested the Pa5X have not said anything about which speakers/amplifier they have used.
This is of decisive importance for the result, and a great many negative feedbacks which claim that the sound is the same as for the Pa4X may be due to this.
Plus widespread ignorance.
You use the Yamaha HS-8, which is among the absolute best.

All in all, I agree with you that Tyros4 was the best; everything worked very well; very good styles and very good sounds - some actually better than on the Pa5X.

Genos never lived up to my expectations as a workstation.
However, it is worth noting the following:
If Yamaha had incorporated some of the features found in Cubase (which they acquired in 2005), the Genos (and many other models) could have appeared far better.

I effectively demonstrated how good the A-3000 and DGX-670 were by adding edits I had made in Cubase.
Both were in my opinion better than Genos with these edits.
Even a Medeli can be surprisingly good with edits made in Cubase.

Korg has done what Yamaha has overlooked, namely to build in functions that are otherwise only found in Cubase and similar.

One example is the wide EQ filters, which are only found on PaX models as far as I know.
All others use narrow filters that only destroy the sound when used too effectively.
It requires great expertise to use narrow EQ filters correctly, and parametric ones with a high Q value in particular.

Both you and I believe that the Pa2X was the best of previous Korg models, but why ?
Because Pa2X had more sounds than others, plus far more FX effects, which are of decisive importance for achievable sound quality.

Pa5X raises the level of the number of sounds and FX effects, which can explain a good part of why this is so much better than others.

If Yamaha builds in wide EQ filters as well as more FX effects in the Genos2, it has a chance to compete against the Pa5X sonically, but if not, it has no chance at all.

Yamaha seems to have forgotten what the word workstation means; it should not be necessary to use external software to be able to make the necessary edits - they should be able to be made directly on the keyboard.

Pa5X is without a doubt the world's most advanced workstation.
The closest second available is the Ketron Audya 76.
