LACK OF MARKETING
I've never seen anything like it:
Many people have now bought a Pa5X, but there are almost no styles or anything else that some have made available to others.
Why has no one imported styles from other models and posted these so that others can be spared this work ?
At the same time, it is almost surreal to witness that several established forums have not said a word about Pa5X.
Our forum is the only one in the world that has presented lots of styles and USEFUL information - everyone else only talks about problems and bugs, but no one has found solutions that work, while I have found working solutions, which I HAVE SHARED with the public.
One forum that has a colossal number of Pa5X users had posted the internal styles, but had called the folders FAVORITE, while a folder was stored as .stg and thus was useless - moreover, many of the files are not original - the whole point of making internal styles available is that these should be able to be put directly on a stick or SD card to then be played directly - and edited from there.
The world is full of users who do not know what they are doing and totally lack the ability to work systematically - why can't they call the folders with their correct names so that other users know where everything should be placed ?
Korg, for its part, is no better when launching a product without complete manuals - VERY many features lack description, and how these work is pure guessing play.
That Korg should take 6 months to update the OS (as well as manuals ?) must be considered incompetent as well as bordering on criminal handling, as they have sold a product without a complete description.
They've had years to do this job.
As if this isn't enough, the Pa5X was tested by selected users for 6 months before it was released for sale.
What exactly have these "testers" done ?
They have definitely not done what was expected, and should never again be given the opportunity to carry out such work.
