This is perhaps the most amazing tool available on any keyboard..!

With the Drum Editor you can change the EQ individually for all drum elements.
With this you can insert FX effects individually for all drum elements, which really gives you the opportunity to control how the FX effects works.

I've used this tool in Cubase when I had the Yamaha A-3000 and DGX-670, but it's terribly backwards and time-consuming to use in Cubase.

As far as I knew, only the Pa5X of keyboards had this, but it turns out that both the Pa700, 1000 and 4X also have this.

This makes the Pa700 stand out as the most advanced arranger for the price - far above the competition.

I can try a simple explanation:
A basic drum set consists of 8 elements.
This tool has 8 elements for the same reason.

Here you have the option to customize the FX for each individual element, thus completely changing a drum set.
TRY YOURSELF.

Try different effects and toggle on and off to hear what happens.
This is really a tool for advanced users, and requires a certain amount of knowledge and experience.
Used correctly it can produce highly professional results, but used incorrectly it can completely ruin an otherwise good drum kit.

Okay; I have one example ready, because I am in the process of creating a style from MIDI.
The first is with ordinary FX effects, and the second with FX effects for each drum element.

The difference is formidable, and I have only used the standard setup in the effects.
Notice how clear and dynamic all drum elements now appear.
