KORG BUGMASTER 76

I have now renamed my Pa5X to a more appropriate name - BugMaster 76.
This choice of name has a double meaning.

At first glance, the meaning appears to be negative, which it is.
However, if you look at it as a programmer, the meaning becomes the opposite - positive.

To understand this, you have to look at the history of the Pa5X:
The first OS worked without bugs for basic functions (some did not work optimally, but these were not bugs), while many advanced functions did not work at all.

Now it is more and more the case that basic functions do not work, while advanced ones do.

Each new OS has removed old bugs and created new ones, but the new ones have been pushed further up from the inner core each time, which is actually a positive thing - it is much easier to locate and remove bugs that are at the very top of the core.

You could say that the bugs are pushed further and further out of the core, to finally die out.

I have been working with the Pa5X for a year and a half in a fairly basic way, while in the last year I have used many advanced features, and have seen a clear progress in Korg's bug handling.


So my nickname for the Pa5X; BugMaster, is not just negative.
OS 4.0 will certainly introduce new bugs, but these will probably be at the very core and easy to remove.
