It appears that for a Yamaha forum (Psr tutorial) there’s hell of a lot of Korg threads and the Korg V Yamaha debates seem to get quite heated. 

But the thing is as interesting though it is, it’s ultimately down to the end user an what there views are. 

You might have bought an arranger before that other people don’t like but for you and your needs it’s brilliant.

A lot of people slated the pa700, but for me it has a lot of bang for the buck. Yes it will obviously be replace by the next incarnation which will have filtered down technologies from the 5ax.

Yes, there is obviously some discussion going on.
However, they don't realize how groundbreaking Pa5X is when they compare this to Genos, which was nearly as groundbreaking.

What's really groundbreaking about the Pa5X is the layout and the ability to reprogram menus and content the way you want.

The Pa700, together with the DGX-670, are clear winners in their price range, and both offer much of the same as the top models, but lack their improved layout.

Colin is one of the few who had an interesting post, where he mentioned Qui Robinez and his ongoing tutorials.
These will turn upside down many people's negative opinions about what Pa5X stands for.
