INDEPENDENT SIMULTANEOUS PRESENTATION OF COMBO STYLES
We are witnessing a very rare event of simultaneous independent presentation of Combo styles:
- I first launched my versions, which was entirely on my own initiative.
- Then Qui Robinez says that he had thought of the same thing at the same time.
- Immediately after this, Combo styles appear (completely by chance..!) in the styles I have long presented for Genos 2.
Combo styles are a rarity, because there are very few that are categorized as Combo.
The very earliest styles that were made for arrangers were all Combo, but as arrangers have become more advanced, so have the styles.
I have always preferred the earlier styles, because their simplicity makes them sound better, and gives the performer greater freedom.
Perhaps more people have begun to realize that complexity is not necessarily synonymous with quality, since Yamaha has made many Combo styles for Genos 2 ?
