INCORRECT DEFAULT VOLUME SETTINGS ON PA5X

After 3 weeks of use I finally found the cause of my ongoing problem with a too low signal strength on my recordings:
In SETTINGS/GENERAL CONTROLS/MIXER STARTUP VOLUME, all levels are set to 100, which should normally be ideal.
At the same time, all volumes in SETTINGS/PREFERENCES//Bass, Drum&Perc, Accompaniments are set to 127.

Practical use shows that the signal strength gets too low with these settings, which MOTU clearly shows on its Level meter - this indicates far below the yellow level even though the Pa5X's Master Volume is at max.
Other keyboards I've had used 110 as standard, while Korg's models have used 120.

When I set all volumes in MIXER STARTUP VOLUME to 120 as well as Master Volume on a line below Max, MOTU's Level meter showed ideal level – yellow at its strongest.


And the end result - the recording - has the normal level that it should have.
This example effectively demonstrates how useful and necessary it is to have a Level meter on the used Audio Interface.
