Yes, Mr. Chello, I do think we're a bit similar in this respect. I currently have the Genos and the Korg X50 together, a beautiful combination. The X50 has very nice synthesizer sounds. The flutes and ochestra sounds aren't that great, but the synthesizer sounds are very good and you can also completely manipulate them.
The Ketron, as I remember it from my Audiy5, sounds great. It just wasn't good enough, so I had to get rid of it. It kept changing keys, so I couldn't really use it with my other instruments. So unfortunately, I had to get rid of it.
Afterwards, it turned out the Yostick was broken.
So I think it's not such a bad choice, and I have something to study again. The value of both instruments is about the same.
And money isn't that important; I can't take it with me anyway, I'm not the youngest anymore.
And we'll see how it goes. I have my song styles in my Genos, and those are important to me, so I don't think I'll ever leave Yamaha. go, and the rest is secondary, a hobby costs money, one spends it on who knows what and I always did on new instruments, that's just the way I am, and luckily my wife can live with that, she knows what I'm like after 43 years together, she's seen them all, wow, too many to mention, just like you Mr Chello, and who knows, the Yamaha you buy might come along too, hahha
