Glad you agree with me.

The styles are better made with more advanced patterns, and have a much cleaner sound; it's easy to hear each track even when they're all played at the same time.

Notice in particular how much cleaner the drums & perc sound; this is because Yamaha put a special focus on ambience when developing the 9000 Pro, something they've tried to repeat with the Genos 2 - in vain.

More precisely:
Yamaha put a massive focus on performance immersion and ambience when developing the Yamaha 9000 Pro. Released in the year 2000, they designed this 76-key arranger workstation specifically for solo gigging musicians who needed to recreate the "ambience" of a full band or a massive concert hall live on stage.

The 9000 Pro is my favorite of all, it's actually better than the Pa5X in terms of sound quality.

I need to get mine fixed soon, because a black key broke quite early on, which means I can't play it fully.

This is quite a bit of work, and I have to use one of my workshops, and can't do other things while I'm doing this to avoid dust in the electronics.

I owned the 9000 Pro for a number of years.
One of the better keybeds available.
They were the days when I had car full of speaker samples fitted with spikes to limit cabinet movement and isolate them from floor transmission.
Can't call it work...Just getting paid for daily enjoying ones hobby.
